Description:

This is a modified Tundra steering rack kit made to fit in the stock location. This is the ultimate kit for steering system reliability. There is no modification required to mount the rack in place. See install information below. This kit can easily accommodate 37" tires. Made for the extreme off-roader. For long travel use: Please ensure that you have coil overs that were spec'd from the manufacturer of the long travel for compatibility of this kit.

The kit comes equipped with:

  • Toyota Tundra OEM Rebuilt Steering Rack
  • Tundra Inner and Outer Tie Rods or Heimed Steering with Solid 17-4 Stainless Tie Rods
  • New Tundra Bellows
  • Shortened Intermediate Shaft for ease of installation
  • Eccentric Aluminum Bushings for the Steering Rack 
  • Spacers for Outer Tie Rod Stud
  • Mounting Hardware

Install Information

Download the install guide here. The Tundra Outer Tie Rods have a different taper than the stock FJ Cruiser. The stock spindle needs to be reamed out with a 1:10 taper. We can service your spindles or you can purchase a reamed spindle from us.
