Terms, Conditions and Policies
Shipping
Items may ship directly from TEQ Customs or directly from one of our vendors. As such, please allow 1-3 business days for all in-stock products to ship.
Freight Shipping
Many larger items (bumpers, sliders, truck caps, etc) may ship freight. This will be noted at checkout. Freight shipments will ship to a commercial address with a loading dock, or be delivered to your nearest freight terminal for pickup.
**Note: If the freight company tries to deliver the item with a liftgate to a commercial address with a loading dock and charge a fee, you have the right to deny that service and charge. A liftgate is not needed for addresses with loading docks.
Home delivery with liftgate service may be available for an additional charge. Please reach out if you are interested in a quote.
International Shipments
We are able to ship most items worldwide. If the checkout does not populate shipping rates for the product you are looking for, please contact us and we can get you a shipping quote.
All International shipments may be subject to duties and taxes. All import costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Any refused international shipments will have shipping costs and any fees deducted from any possible refunds.
Shipping Damage
We know shipping damage sucks, but we're here to help. We cover shipping insurance for all packages.
Follow these policies and procedures below and we'll get you taken care of!
- Initial notification of shipping damage must be made by email to TEQ Customs within 14 days of the delivery. Even if you are not installing the item immediately, please check it's condition upon arrival.
- For freight shipments, DO NOT accept delivery of a damaged item. Contact us immediately. Once delivery is accepted, no action can be taken for damage.
- DO NOT install damaged products. Once the product is installed we can not longer help with shipping damages.
There are two possibly solutions;
- If the item is destroyed beyond usable condition, you can be refunded or have a replacement provided to you.
- If the item can be repaired, we will provide a return label and take care of the repair as quickly as possible.
- If the item has minor damage or you wish to repair it yourself, we are happy to assist you in the claims process. Any awarded compensation will be yours. Once this option is selected we are not able to take your product as a return.
To start a claim, email us a detailed description of the damage, photos of the item, the damage, the box, and all packaging. We will get back to you within 2 business days.
Local Pickup
We offer local pickup for all items at our shop in Raleigh, North Carolina. Local pickup does not change any lead times associated with the items purchased. When your order is ready for pickup, you will receive notification from us via email.
Due to rising freight shipping costs, local pickup orders that would otherwise ship freight may be subject to a handling fee of 50% of the freight shipping cost. This allows you to still save money on freight and us to offer local pickup on those items.
After the order is placed, we will contact you via email to discuss handling fees.
Warranty
TEQ Customs is confident in the quality of our products and is proud to back that up with a warranty.
Additionally, as authorized dealers for the brands we sell, all manufacturers warranties will apply to purchases through TEQ. Please contact us if you have any questions about manufacturers warranties.
What is Covered
Headlights

All TEQ Produced Headlights come with a 2 year warranty. This warranty covers all installed parts (Projectors, halos, demon eyes, LED strips, etc) as well as all wiring components (Harnesses, LED Drivers, Resistors, Halo Controllers).

The warranty guarantees the headlights against water entry.
- Headlight adjusters, provided the headlights have been adjusted in accordance with our adjustment guide.

HID Wiring components (ballasts, bulbs, and harnesses) are considered a wear and tear item and will be covered by a 1 year warranty, or the manufacturers warranty, whichever is greater.
Other TEQ Products
- Raptor Lights are covered under a 1 year warranty.
- Glow Gauges carry a 2 year warranty.
- All TEQ Customs Tail Lights are covered under a 2 year warranty.
- Gusseted Spindles carry a Lifetime Structural Warranty. This warranty covers the spindle and gussets against cracking, bending, or any other damage that would compromise the structural integrity.
- TEQ Ditch Light Brackets carry a Lifetime Structural Warranty. This does not cover cosmetic issues.
3rd Party Products
- As authorized dealers for the 3rd party products we sell, any manufacturers warranties will apply to 3rd party products purchased through TEQ Customs.
What is Not Covered
Headlights
- Cosmetic issues or shipping damage will not be covered once the headlights are installed. If your headlight arrives with damage, contact us within 14 days of delivery to utilize the included shipping insurance. Once contacted, we will file the claim and remedy the issue. After 14 days or installation, we are unable to accept any claims for cosmetic issues or shipping damage.
- Any damage arising from improper use (trail damage, vehicle accidents, products used for racing, or damage arising from unlawful vehicle operation)
- Normal wear and tear items, such as scratches and fading of the lens are not covered. Please see our Headlight Use and Care Guide for information on protecting your headlights against cosmetic damage.
- Headlights that have been opened by the customer or another third party, or altered internally in any way.
- Light condensation; The occasional light condensation is very normal, especially right after installing and after drastic temperature changes. If the condensation becomes heavy or frequent, please contact us and we will cover it.
Warranty Terms and Conditions
- It is the sole discretion of TEQ Customs to determine warranty eligibility.
- All products must be installed using our recommended procedures. Failure to do so may result in a voiding of the warranty. Please reach out to us with any questions.
- The warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the product.
- We honor ALL manufacturers warranties for products produced by our vendors.
All warranty requests must be made in writing to info@teqcustoms.com. We do not accept warranty requests in any other format.
Disclaimer
TEQ Customs LLC's offering of a repair or replacement product is the exclusive remedy provided under this warranty. Damage to a purchasers vehicle or any other equipment is not covered under this warranty. TEQ Customs's sole liability to the customer falls within this policy set forth above. TEQ Customs LLC will not be liable for any installation costs, lost profits, lost sales, or for any consequential, direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages or for any other damages of any kind or nature.
Lead Times
Certain products from TEQ and our vendors may be built to order or backordered and have lead times. If a product has a lead time, it will be stated under heading of the product page, right by the title and the price. Lead times are stated up front, as clearly as possible to set fair and reasonable expectations for all.
Please note; We carry many products from vendors in our store. We advertise the same lead times as the manufacturer tells us. While we cannot guarantee every vendor will always meet their lead times, we can guarantee we will leverage our relationships with vendors to help get your items out to you as quickly as possible. Our biggest goal is your satisfaction.
Returns/Cancellations
Made-to-Order and Special Order items
- Bumpers, Sliders, Gusseted Spindles, and most items with lead times are made to order items. As such, these items are not typically eligible for returns or cancellations per manufacturers policies.
- TEQ Headlights are made to order, however we do allow cancellation within the first 7 days of ordering. If you wish to make changes to your headlight build during the build process, we will do our best to accommodate that.
Returns
Items that do not fall under the made to order exemption are eligible for returns. All returns must be in unused, uninstalled condition with all parts and hardware included in the return.
Shipping is non-refundable. Return shipping is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. In the event the item shipped with free shipping, the initial shipping cost will be deducted from the return.
Most items will have a 5% restocking fee. Certain vendors may offer free returns or charge a higher fee. Any fees will be communicated prior to the item being returned.

Cancellations
Items that do not fall into the above exemptions may be eligible for cancellation.
- Cancellations will incur a 3% cancellation fee. Cancellation fees are able to be applied to future orders as credits if desired.
- Cancellation requests must be made to TEQ Customs in writing via email. Cancellation requests are not accepted through any other channel.
Discounts
Discount codes do not stack. Items that are marked down are not subject to any additional discounts.
Use Disclaimer
Customers are responsible for ensuring any parts installed on their vehicle meet their applicable federal, state and local requirements for use on-road. TEQ Customs will not be held responsible in any way for the improper use of any products purchased from TEQ Customs.
