Bilstein
The combination of Bilstein 6112 front shocks with the 5160 rear shocks is perhaps the ultimate "entry level" lift kit for 1st Gen Tacomas (1996-2004). It's more performance focused than a 5100 lift kit, but still maintains the reputation for longevity developed over years of use by Bilstein.
In the front, the 6112's add larger pistons than their 5100 counterparts, giving you improved dampening on and off the road.
In the rear, the 5160 shocks add external resivours, providing additional cooling and reducing shock fade. This is even more beneficial for those who like to drive at higher speeds on the beach or dirt roads.
The Bilstein 6112 Coilovers provide anywhere from 0in of lift to 2.8in of lift, depending on the height setting and your truck. These coilovers feature different snap ring perches to adjust the spring seat and lift height.
