Front Seat Accessory Mounts (FSAM) are designed to allow the user to mount accessories in the area directly in front of the seat. This area is proven to be one of the most effective areas to store items that are commonly used due to ease of access.
Each one has rows of slots along with MOLLE style cutouts for user customizability.
Choose between a Driver Side, Passenger Side, or both depending on your usage needs. These are not interchangeable between each side because of the different design geometry.
Quality
The FSAM is professionally powder coated in a durable gloss black with first-rate quality. Each one is precisely cut from 0.135" Mild Steel on a high precision fiber laser machine to ensure perfect fitment.
Easy Installation
The FSAM affixes to the seat mounting brackets. Installation is a breeze. Simply remove the two bolts for the seats, place spacer necessary amount of spacer washers on top of the factory seat bracket, set the FSAM into position, and then reinstall the seat bolts. Minor plastic trimming may be required to reinstall the bolt covers.
Fire Extinguisher Mounting
Since I have received a lot of questions regarding the fire extinguisher in the images, I have decided to link it here. This is not my own product and it can be purchased on Amazon. It is fairly cheap and it sticks out a bit so I recommended finding one that sits flush. This puts less leverage on the FSAM. Since this mount requires a tapered nut and bolt, I will list my recommended hardware to use this mount: 5/16-18 x 3/4" Flat Head Socket Cap Screws with 5/16-18 Thin Nylon Lock Nuts. These can be purchased from fasteners.com which is a great source for hardware, or your local hardware store.
If you wish to support a local fabricator, you may also purchase this fire extinguisher mount. This mount does not required a tapered nut and bolt so any appropriately sized nut and bolt will work!
The fire extinguisher in the images was purchased on Amazon and is available here. This fire extinguisher is on the smaller side. It may be possible to use a larger one but the weight of a larger fire extinguisher may cause the quick release to be more prone to rattling (The Amazon one in particular. I have not tested the KPO mount).
Please note that I am not guaranteeing that any particular mount/fire extinguisher combination will work for your vehicle. These are just suggestions.
Does the FSAM get in the way of my feet?
No, it does not get in the way of your feet! Double check for yourself by sitting in your car and place your feet where you would normally.
Can I Still Move the Seat Forward?
Yes (without power seats). If you have power seats, it will contact the top of the mount which limits the seat from moving all the way forward. This is not an issue for most people unless you are very short and need the seat forward.
This does also depend on the accessory you mount but the FSAM itself does not get in the way of the seat (without power seats). It is possible to move the seat completely over many accessories including a fire extinguisher imaged below.
Built to Order
Each order is custom made and designed by Snowbound Customs. There is currently a 3 week lead time as the product is being laser cut, bent and professionally powder coated. Does not include fire extinguisher or quick release fire extinguisher mount.
