Our Not Your Typical Rock Sliders for the Lexus GX550/Toyota Land Cruiser is high clearance, low profile, and non-tubular.
They are finished in wrinkled black powder coat, and made with 3/16 inch and 1/4 inch high-strength steel to ensure durability.
The rock sliders mount directly to the frame, providing protection to the vehicle’s body, while also acting as side steps. On certain GX550 premium or luxury trims, the rock sliders need to be installed with ¼ inch self expansion bolts. Check on both sides of the frame to see if there are threaded nuts welded on the backside of the mounting holes, to determine if self expansion bolts are needed.
All necessary mounting hardware included. ¼ inch self expansion bolts (16 needed) not included.
Torque down all the M10 bolts to 48 ft-lbs./65 Nm. Torque down the ¼ inch self expansion bolts to 14 ft-lbs./19 Nm.
